Nam vets answer Questions After operation Homecoming in 1973, there were 2583 American men and women who were unaccounted for in Southeast Asia. Over 90% of them were lost in areas controlled by the Vietnamese. Thru the continuing efforts of the families, Vietnam veterans and other concerned citizens; the current number unaccounted for is down to 1836. While it is progress, IT IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!!! Included in the 1836
are many who the Vietnamese government knows the fate of. There are
over fifty still listed as catagory one. There are well over one hundred
who were "last known alive". We, the American people, are responsible for this abandonment of our bravest men and women. We can do something it. The progress made is by the efforts of a few. If the American people DEMANDED the IMMEDIATE accounting..... it would get done. When the time is right and the cause is good you can't keep chained what rightfully is free. It is time !!!! There is no greater cause. Wake up America!!!! They are there because America asked them to go there.... They are there cause YOU ABANDONED THEM!!! |
